For Prelims success on LAC topics, focus on memorizing precise factual data: 4,057 km total length, sector-wise breakdown (Western 2,152 km, Middle 625 km, Eastern 1,280 km), states covered, and key agreement years (1993, 1996, 2005, 2012, 2013).

Create clear distinction tables between LAC, LoC, and international borders - this comparison is frequently tested. Memorize specific incidents with exact years: Doklam 2017, Galwan 2020, and their unique characteristics.

Practice elimination techniques by understanding common traps: confusing LAC length with LoC, mixing up sector characteristics (Western is longest but most disputed, Middle is most stable), and agreement provisions.
