Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) is a flagship scheme of the Government of India launched in 2017-18 to empower rural women at the grassroots level. The name 'Mahila Shakti Kendra' literally translates to 'Women Power Center', which perfectly captures its essence of making women the driving force of rural development.
