Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Act	2016	This amendment significantly modified the original 1986 Act. It brought a complete prohibition on the employment of children below 14 years in all occupations and processes, with a narrow exception for family enterprises and the entertainment industry (excluding circuses) that does not interfere with school education. It also prohibited the employment of adolescents (14-18 years) in hazardous occupations and processes.	Strengthened the legal framework against child labour by expanding the prohibition to all sectors for children below 14. Introduced the concept of 'adolescent labour' and increased penalties for violations. However, the 'family enterprise' exception has been a point of debate regarding its potential for misuse and difficulty in enforcement.
