To effectively tackle NEET questions on AND, OR, and NOT gates, a systematic approach is crucial. Firstly, memorize the logic symbol, Boolean expression, and truth table for each of the three basic gates (AND, OR, NOT) without fail.

Create flashcards or a quick reference sheet. For numerical or circuit-based problems, always start by clearly identifying the inputs and the sequence of gates. If it's a combination of gates, work step-by-step from the initial inputs through each gate to the final output.

For example, if an AND gate feeds into a NOT gate, first find the AND output, then use that as the NOT input.

Pay close attention to the wording of conceptual questions; small details can change the answer. Be wary of trap options that swap the functions of AND and OR gates, or incorrectly apply the NOT function.

Practice drawing truth tables for simple combinations of gates. For instance, practice (A AND B) OR C. Time management is key; these questions are often quick to solve if you know the basics, so don't overthink them.

If you encounter a question with a complex circuit, break it down into smaller, manageable parts, evaluating each gate's output sequentially. Always double-check your truth table entries, especially for the '0,0' and '1,1' input combinations, as these are often points of confusion.
