For NEET, mastering Huygens' Principle involves a two-pronged approach: conceptual clarity and application. Remember the relationship between speed of light and refractive index (v=c/nv=c/n) as it's key for refraction problems.

Pay attention to the limitations of the principle, especially what it *cannot* explain (e.g., photoelectric effect, polarization, backward wave). For numerical problems involving refraction, ensure you correctly apply Snell's Law, remembering that light bends towards the normal when entering a denser medium (lower speed, higher refractive index) and away from the normal when entering a rarer medium.
