Practice quick recall and accurate substitution. Secondly, understand Lenz's Law conceptually: Be able to determine the direction of induced EMF when current is increasing or decreasing. This is a common conceptual trap.

Draw diagrams if needed. Thirdly, pay close attention to units: Always convert given values to SI units (e.g., millihenries to Henries, centimeters to meters) before calculation. Fourthly, practice numerical problems extensively: Start with direct formula application and gradually move to problems requiring slight rearrangement or combining concepts.
