To excel in NEET questions on instantaneous power, a systematic approach is key. Firstly, master the core formula: P=FvP = \vec{F} \cdot \vec{v}. Understand that this is a dot product, yielding a scalar.

For problems where force and velocity are given as vectors, practice calculating the dot product (Fxvx+Fyvy+FzvzF_x v_x + F_y v_y + F_z v_z) accurately. Secondly, be proficient in kinematics and dynamics: Many problems will not directly provide F\vec{F} and v\vec{v}.

You might need to derive velocity from position (v=dx/dtv = dx/dt) and acceleration from velocity (a=dv/dta = dv/dt), then use Newton's second law (F=maF = ma) to find the force. Pay close attention to the time instant specified.

Thirdly, handle variable quantities with calculus: If force or velocity are functions of time, position, or velocity itself, you'll need to differentiate to find the instantaneous values at the required moment.

Fourthly, understand the conceptual nuances: Be clear on when power is zero (force perpendicular to velocity, or zero velocity) or negative (force component opposite to velocity). Don't confuse instantaneous power with average power.

Finally, practice diverse problem types: Work through examples involving both constant and variable forces/velocities, 1D and 2D motion, and conceptual questions to build confidence and speed.
