To excel in NEET questions on angular velocity, a multi-pronged strategy is essential. First, master the definitions and units: clearly distinguish between average and instantaneous angular velocity, and always convert units to rad/s for calculations unless specified otherwise.

Remember 11 revolution =2π= 2\pi radians and 11 minute =60= 60 seconds. Second, understand the core formulas: ω=ΔθΔt\omega = \frac{\Delta\theta}{\Delta t}, ω=2πf\omega = 2\pi f, ω=2πT\omega = \frac{2\pi}{T}, and most importantly, v=rωv = r\omega.

Practice rearranging these formulas to solve for different variables. Third, internalize the vector nature: consistently apply the right-hand rule to determine the direction of ω\vec{\omega}. This is often tested conceptually.

Fourth, pay attention to rigid body dynamics: remember that all points on a rigid rotating body have the *same* angular velocity but *different* linear velocities (proportional to their distance from the axis).

This is a frequent source of conceptual questions and traps. Fifth, practice integration/differentiation: if angular acceleration is given as a function of time, be prepared to integrate to find angular velocity.

Conversely, differentiate angular position to find angular velocity. Finally, solve a wide variety of problems, including those involving multiple rotating bodies (e.g., connected gears) and scenarios where linear and angular motion are coupled.
