Ammonotelism — Mains Strategy
Mains Strategy
For NEET UG, the term 'mains' typically refers to the main examination paper, which is entirely objective (MCQ-based). There isn't a separate subjective 'mains' exam like in UPSC. Therefore, the strategy for 'prelims' questions directly applies to the NEET UG main examination.
The focus remains on conceptual clarity, factual recall, and comparative analysis for objective questions. Students should practice a wide variety of MCQs, including assertion-reasoning and statement-based questions, which test deeper understanding and critical thinking, rather than just rote memorization.
The goal is to quickly and accurately identify the correct option among distractors, applying the knowledge of ammonotelism's characteristics, examples, and its distinctions from other excretory modes.
